Caro's Lines
“The planet does not need more ‘successful people’. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds. It needs people to live well in their places. It needs people with moral courage willing to join the struggle to make the world habitable and humane and these qualities have little to do with success as our culture is the set.” – Dalai Lama

My Story

Caroline is a slasher.

She is a daughter / a mum/ a writer/ an agronomist/ a global health advocate/ a women rights advocate/ a children rights advocate/ a social justice servant/ a speaker/ a cook/ a amateur dancer/ a spiritual accompanier/ a runner for fun/ a Pan-Africanist/ a happy soul.

Caroline Numuhire was born in the university city of Butare and she grew up in Kigali. She studied Agriculture Sciences and Global Health Delivery. For the last seven years she has worked in the development and philanthropy sector, with the mission to improve livelihoods of African communities.

She also a creative writer. She started writing when she was fifteen, inspired by dozens of books she had read. However, her writing journey took another step when she collaborated with David J. With two of her best friends, she started Women ConneXion.

She is drawn to the beauty of flowers. Everywhere.

It's exciting to finally see some stories from Rwanda. I found them accessible and relatable. Caroline weaves interesting tales with her beautiful writing.
